NorthAlto provides integrated technical, commercial and supply-chain support for stationary and fixed process equipment, from requirement definition and technical review through sourcing, procurement, inspection, documentation, logistics and delivery. The scope covers heat-transfer, separation, filtration and packaged process equipment used across power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, utility and industrial facilities.

Heat Exchangers

The heat-exchanger portfolio includes shell-and-tube, air-cooled and project-specific heat-transfer equipment for process, utility and energy applications. Equipment selection is typically based on thermal duty, process fluids, operating pressures and temperatures, allowable pressure drop, materials of construction, fouling characteristics and maintenance requirements.

Shell-and-tube exchangers are commonly specified in accordance with API 660 and applicable TEMA requirements, while air-cooled heat exchangers may reference API 661. Pressure-retaining design and fabrication requirements are generally coordinated with the applicable ASME code and project specification.

Pressure Vessels, Separators & Scrubbers

This group includes pressure vessels, process vessels, separators, scrubbers and knock-out drums designed for pressure containment, phase separation, gas cleaning and other process duties. Configuration may include internal trays, demisters, distributors, inlet devices, drains, vents and project-specific nozzle arrangements.

Pressure-containing equipment is commonly designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME BPVC Section VIII, with the final design basis defined by operating pressure and temperature, materials, corrosion allowance, process function, internals and purchaser requirements.

Filtration & Separation Equipment

Industrial filtration requirements may include filter vessels, cartridge and bag filters, basket strainers, Y-strainers and specialized filtration assemblies for liquids, gases and utility services. Selection depends on flow capacity, contaminant loading, required filtration efficiency, pressure drop, media compatibility and operating conditions.

Where filtration equipment forms part of a pressure-containing system, the applicable vessel and piping requirements are reviewed together with the specific process and filtration criteria.

Process Skids & Packaged Systems

NorthAlto’s scope also includes process skids, packaged systems, equipment-mounted piping and integrated stationary assemblies for project-specific applications. These packages may combine vessels, filters, valves, instrumentation, piping and supporting structures into a coordinated system.

Process piping within packaged equipment is commonly specified in accordance with ASME B31.3, while the overall package is reviewed against the project datasheets, piping class, materials, design conditions, inspection requirements and interface points.

Fabricated & Project-Specific Equipment

Project-specific requirements may include tanks, reactors, specialized piping assemblies and other fabricated stationary equipment where the design basis and technical scope can be clearly established. These items are reviewed using drawings, datasheets, materials of construction, design and operating conditions, inspection and testing requirements and required certification documentation.

Typical applications: power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical and process industries, water and utility systems, mining, manufacturing, EPC projects, filtration services and balance-of-plant applications.
